One thing worth keeping in my mind today: There’s a straight line from Russia’s attack on the US election in 2016 to 1/6 to today’s new invasion of Ukraine. The chaos that Russia unleashed with the election of Trump weakened us to the point Putin feels confident invading Europe.

China says it will not join the U.S. and other Western countries in sanctioning Russia over its actions in Ukraine. https://t.co/18CEhpMrIA

[Brian Stelter @brianstelter]

While other networks are covering Russia's military action, Fox is having Laura Ingraham chat with former president Donald Trump. He's ranting about the "Russia hoax" and bragging about his friendships and bashing President Biden.

If you’re an American, and your not tracking on #Ukraine, now is the time to start. This is just not another foreign policy blip. This is potentially bigger & more deadly than anything we’ve seen since WW2. This could have generational consequences globally. This will impact you.

A special prayer tonight for all those in Ukraine covering the war so the world can know the truth of what is taking place

[Ashish K. Jha @ashishkjha]

Today, the 5 most vaccinated states (14M people) had

580 people in hospital, 12 deaths

In the 5 least vaccinated states (16M people)?

6,600 hospitalized, 104 deaths

Per capita , least vaccinated states have

10X hospitalizations and 7X deaths

So yeah, vaccines are working

Rough night topped off by getting our takeout home from @Applebees in Aberdeen to find BOTH burgers were completely RAW inside. Not pink, raw. #gross

@KarenCampbellTV @netflix @nbc literally does this with every single show I ever like. Maybe THAT is why they have decline in viewership. 🙄
