🚨25-year-old Argentine rapper Nicki Nicole, the ex-girlfriend of Barcelona star Lamine Yamal, 19, admitted in an interview that she only dated him last year to gain more publicity for her music career.
🗣️ “It's time to be honest, I need to admit this. I don’t care if it goes viral or if I receive backlash. I only dated Lamine last year because I wanted more eyes on my name to boost my music career. Even though we dated, we didn’t do anything sexual in bed, but I still loved him at the time. I’m happy for him and Inés, and I just hope she isn’t using him the way I did.”
🚨Unai Emery on Youri Tielemans saying Manchester United is bigger than Aston Villa:
🗣️ Unai Emery: “I saw what Youri said about Manchester United being a bigger club than Aston Villa, and honestly, I cannot be angry with him for saying that. Manchester United have an enormous history, a global fanbase and a trophy cabinet that speaks for itself. That is the reality of football.
“But I also told Youri something when we spoke about it: ‘Youri, never forget what Aston Villa did for you.’ He came here, became an important player, helped us compete at the highest level and gave everything for this club. We were proud to have him.
“If a player gets the opportunity to join Manchester United, of course he can be excited. But being bigger historically does not mean you automatically become a better team. Aston Villa have ambition, and Manchester United have ambition. Now Youri has to prove that he can take everything he learned here and make an impact at Old Trafford.
“I wish him nothing but success. He deserves to play on the biggest stages, and I will always be grateful for what he gave Aston Villa. But when he plays against us, I hope he remembers that Villa will not be afraid of Manchester United.”
Ronaldo fans saying Jay-Jay Okocha has no right to criticize Cristiano Ronaldo is genuinely hilarious. 😭
You don’t have to agree with Okocha, but acting like he doesn’t understand football is crazy.

🚨 Viktor Gyökeres on the season starting tomorrow:
🗣️“The season starts tomorrow and I’m really excited. I’ve worked hard during the summer because I have big ambitions for this season.
“I spoke with Saliba and Gabriel during training, and they reminded me that being a top striker isn’t only about scoring goals. Your movement, positioning and the way you make defenders uncomfortable are just as important.
“That stayed with me. I’ve worked on my movement, positioning and decision-making because I want defenders to feel pressure whenever I’m on the pitch.
“I know the manager trusts me and believes in my ability. I want to repay that trust with goals and performances.
“I want to win the Golden Boot. I believe I can do it. I have the pace, strength and finishing, and now I want to show it consistently throughout the season.
“My main focus is helping Arsenal win trophies, but winning the Golden Boot is also a big personal target for me this season.”
🚨🎙️MLS BAN WARNING FOR MESSI? THREE-GAME SUSPENSION COULD BE ON THE TABLE
“I think Lionel Messi has a serious disciplinary problem on his hands after what happened against Philadelphia, and I would not be surprised if MLS decides to come down heavily on him.
“We have to separate the player Messi is from the incident itself. He is one of the greatest footballers the sport has ever produced, but that does not mean he gets a different set of rules when he is involved in an off-the-ball incident.
“What makes this interesting is that it was not part of a footballing action. Messi was involved in a confrontation with Quinn Sullivan, there was a lot of pushing and talking, and then you see Messi make contact with the back of Sullivan’s head or neck. The referee did not issue a card at the time, but MLS has the ability to look at incidents retrospectively.
“If the disciplinary committee decides that the contact was intentional and constitutes violent or unsporting conduct, then a suspension becomes a realistic possibility. They will have to look at the video, the referee’s report, the sequence of events before the contact and whether Messi was reacting to something Sullivan had done.
“For me, the fact that there was no serious injury does not automatically make it acceptable. The disciplinary process cannot simply say, ‘It was Messi, so it was harmless.’ The question should be whether the action crossed the line.
“I could see MLS considering a three-game suspension if they believe the slap was deliberate and that the incident deserves punishment beyond what the referee saw on the night. Whether they actually go that far is another question, because there are mitigating circumstances and the contact itself was relatively minor.
“But MLS also has to think about the message it sends. If another player did exactly the same thing and the footage clearly showed an intentional slap to an opponent’s head or neck, would we expect the league to investigate? Of course we would.
“Messi cannot be immune from that standard simply because of his status. In fact, with his profile, there is probably an even bigger responsibility on him to avoid these situations.
“And remember, this was already a very heated match. The game finished 2–2, there was another confrontation late in the match, two players were sent off, and emotions were clearly boiling over. MLS will have plenty of footage to examine.
“So I would not say Messi is definitely getting three games. That would be irresponsible at this stage. But if the committee concludes that he deliberately struck Sullivan and believes it falls under conduct deserving disciplinary action, three games is certainly a punishment they could consider.
“The big question now is whether MLS treats this as a minor incident that warrants a fine, or whether they decide that putting a hand to an opponent’s head off the ball deserves a suspension. Messi’s name should not decide that. The evidence should.”
