@brandonwilson Platforms extract value by monetizing user data. Users currently accept this because there’s no real alternative—opting out means losing access to essential services. But as people realize their data has tangible value, the demand for ownership-based models will grow.
@brandonwilson Government enforcement isn't the only way. Scalable blockchain is the alternative. We need new apps (Web3) where data is in self-custody—enforced by cryptography, not regulation. Platforms that don't respect ownership will lose out to those that do.
