"Many Muslim communities have a massive problem with bigoted social conservatism"
HA-HA YES!!
"Many Jewish communities have a massive problem with their open support (especially synagogues) of a state practicing racial apartheid & genocide"
UHHH HELLO, HUMAN RESOURCES??
Allow me to get ornithological, especially as this is the second time in recent Hezbollah media that a native bird is referenced.
The birds shown in the video are common swifts. You can find them all across our villages and towns in South Lebanon and throughout the region. They're known for being incredibly fast and agile, and you can often catch them swooping and diving through the valleys.
Hezbollah's FPV drones are referred to as "Ababil" in Arabic (meaning flocks/swarms) and carry heavy ideological connotations rooted in Islamic history. The name refers directly to the Quranic "Tayran Ababil." They are the flocks of birds sent by God to destroy a heavily armored invading army with small stones.
By invoking this imagery, Hezbollah is framing their (now legendary) low-cost FPV drone swarms as a modern version of this divine intervention, showing that a vastly outnumbered resistance can still shatter the technological superiority of their occupier.
