@tejasghongadi Usually not required to follow the 5-8 timeline. Once a decade is fine - I usually dont send the watch for servicing unless something is wrong.
@contliving To be fair this was for retirement that's 20 years away. With a 7% inflation rate (10 year bond yield), that's 10Cr in todays money. Even so that would be a 2.4% withdrawal rate which is very conservative.
@kamath_sandeep@ravihanda For those who want to be hands off, the 4% rule works fine. Most forms of passive income, including dividends and rental income will get disrupted during bad times.
If you can be a bit more involved, 5% works if you are willing to follow a couple of guardrails.

Poor support by @Flipkart. Raised an issue with @flipkartsupport regarding non pickup of my old phone. No response for two days except a message saying pickup cancelled and asking me to sell the phone myself.
