💪 L’exercice TARANG SHAKTI, regroupant des dizaines d’appareils de 7 pays participants, a pour objectif de renforcer la collaboration opérationnelle à travers des exercices aériens complexes.

A solemn and distinguished tribute was paid at Headquarters Western Air Command through ‘सिंदूर शौर्य सम्मान सम्मेलन’, honouring gallant Air Warriors for their exemplary courage and distinguished service to the Nation.

Air Marshal Jeetendra Mishra, AOC-in-C, Western Air Command, interacted with the awardees and commended their professionalism, sound judgement under pressure and steadfast resolve in demanding operational environments. He underscored that operational excellence is founded on rigorous training, seamless coordination and the indomitable spirit of Air Warriors who remain prepared to respond decisively at all times.

The ceremony recognised personnel conferred with prestigious Presidential Awards for acts of conspicuous bravery, exceptional leadership and selfless devotion to duty. Their conduct exemplifies the highest traditions of the Indian Air Force and its enduring ethos of Service Before Self.

Subsequently, the decorated Air Warriors interacted with veterans, who shared their experiences and operational wisdom, reinforcing the continuity of service values and commitment across generations.

Air Marshal Narmdeshwar Tiwari superannuated as Vice Chief of the Air Staff on 31 Dec 25, after four decades of distinguished service in the Indian Air Force.
Commissioned on 07 Jun 1986, he is a highly accomplished fighter and test pilot, who held several crucial appointments during his illustrious career, including that of Air Officer Commanding-in-Chief, South Western Air Command. An alumnus of RIMC, NDA and the US Air Command & Staff College, Air Marshal Tiwari was conferred the SYSM, PVSM, AVSM and VM. He leaves behind a lasting legacy of professionalism, leadership and operational excellence.

India’s Ambassador to France Sanjeev Singla visited the Mont-de-Marsan Air Base on 26 November for the Ex Garuda VIP Day. He was received by Maj Gen Sabene of the FASF and Base Commander Col Cerreghetti and his team. He interacted with the IAF contingent and witnessed a static display of the Rafale and Sukhoi-30 aircrafts, along with an impressive flypast by the combined team.
