From advance release calendars for informing data releases since the last three years, speeding up the pace of data-gatherings and publications and improving the outreach to stakeholders, @GoIStats is now focused on facilitating output numbers for India’s 800-odd districts with the support of the State Governments, to make economic data more granular and also to prepare the country’s statistical infrastructure for new technologies like AI/ML. All these efforts will facilitate the evidence-based policy decisions by the Government to reach the target of Viksit Bharat 2047. RBI data sets are now available on esankhyiki portal. This is the fourth external data set onboarded on the esankhyiki. It is another step towards making esankhyiki as single credible source of official statistics.
