The Indian Express got the data. Between March and July 2026, nearly 1.95 lakh blocking orders went to Instagram, Facebook and YouTube.
That's around 1,275 every single day. One every 68 seconds.

A year earlier, the same Home Ministry portal sent about 6 orders a day. Six.

And when the story came out, the government's own "clarification" made it worse. It said the real number was nearly 2.98 lakh.

One order can cover hundreds of posts and accounts. Meta has plugged its system straight into the Home Ministry's portal, so flagged posts can disappear without any human even reviewing them.

15 साल पुरानी एक ‘अफवाह’ और देश की सियासत का सबसे बड़ा तख्तापलट!

क्या आप जानते हैं कि एक कथित घोटाले की अफवाह ने कैसे भारत की पूरी राजनीतिक दिशा बदल दी?

2017 में सुप्रीम कोर्ट ने साफ कहा—"कोई घोटाला नहीं हुआ, सब बरी!" विनोद राय ने बाद में पूर्व प्रधानमंत्री डॉ. मनमोहन सिंह जी से लिखित में माफी भी मांगी।

अभी इसी साल जुलाई 2026 में ही सुप्रीम कोर्ट ने पुर्व प्रधानमंत्री स्वर्गीय मनमोहन सिंह जी को कोयला घोटाला में बरी कर दिया है, इन्होंने ही उनपर कोयला आवंटन में धांधली का आरोप लगाया था।

लेकिन इस पूरे घटनाक्रम से किसे क्या मिला?

आइए समझते हैं इस 7 चेहरों की पूरी इनसाइड स्टोरी:

1️⃣ . विनोद राय (पूर्व CAG)

रोल: 1.76 लाख करोड़ रुपये के 2G स्पेक्ट्रम घोटाले का दावा कर सनसनी फैलाई।

आज की स्थिति: पद्म भूषण से सम्मानित हुए, बैंक बोर्ड ब्यूरो के प्रमुख बने और भारी वेतन/सुविधाओं का लाभ उठाया।

2️⃣. अन्ना हजारे

रोल: इस कथित घोटाले के विरोध में 'इंडिया अगेंस्ट करप्शन' आंदोलन का मुख्य चेहरा बने।

आज की स्थिति: Z+ श्रेणी की सुरक्षा और कई सरकारी सुविधाओं का आनंद ले रहे हैं।

3️⃣. किरण बेदी

रोल: अन्ना आंदोलन में सक्रिय भूमिका निभाई और भ्रष्टाचार विरोधी चेहरा बनीं।

आज की स्थिति: भाजपा में शामिल हुईं, दिल्ली सीएम उम्मीदवार बनीं और बाद में पुडुचेरी की उपराज्यपाल (LG) नियुक्त हुईं।

4️⃣. अरविंद केजरीवाल

रोल: जनलोकपाल आंदोलन की लहर को राजनीतिक मोर्चे में बदला।

आज की स्थिति: आम आदमी पार्टी (AAP) का गठन किया और दिल्ली के 10 साल तक मुख्यमंत्री रहे।

5️⃣. बाबा रामदेव

रोल: आंदोलन में 'काले धन' का एंगल जोड़कर विरोध का दायरा और बड़ा किया।

आज की स्थिति: योग गुरु से बढ़कर पतंजलि के जरिए अरबपति कारोबारी साम्राज्य के मालिक बने।

6️⃣. डॉ. सुब्रमण्यम स्वामी

रोल: इस मामले को कानूनी रूप से सुप्रीम कोर्ट तक ले गए और माहौल तैयार किया।

आज की स्थिति: भाजपा के राज्यसभा सांसद बने। अब हांसिए पर हैं।

7️⃣. नरेंद्र मोदी

रोल: 2G घोटाले और भ्रष्टाचार-विरोधी आंदोलन से उपजे जन-आक्रोश को राजनीतिक रूप से भुनाया।

आज की स्थिति: 2014 और 2019 में पूर्ण बहुमत तथा 2024 में एनडीए के साथ देश के प्रधानमंत्री बने हुए हैं।

नतीजा:

अदालत से सब निर्दोष साबित हुए, देश के पूर्व पीएम से माफी मांग ली गई... लेकिन इस पूरी पटकथा के किरदार आज सत्ता और व्यवस्था के शीर्ष पर हैं!
