WOW! There was a mass shooting in Illinois, and nobody is talking about it and we know why.

A 16-year-old boy has been charged as an adult, and a 15-year-old girl has been charged in connection with a deadly mass shooting in Illinois.

The 15-year-old girl, referred to as “W.T.,” is the granddaughter of victim Patricia May. She and her 16-year-old boyfriend, Ja’ymier Davis, are accused in the attacks. Davis has been charged as an adult with 5 counts of first-degree murder, dismembering a human body (allegedly cutting off Patricia’s thumb to access her phone and steal money), attempted murder, and other felonies.

Disturbing texts between the teens referenced a "hit list" and willingness to kill family members. The girl's mother had reportedly warned police about a stolen gun and threatening messages beforehand.

The 7 family members were shot at 3 locations, a park and two homes, in the East St. Louis area, with 5 victims dying from their injuries.

Housing? You made the starter home ILLEGAL. Minimum lot sizes, single-family-only zoning, environmental review weaponized by wealthy NIMBYs holding up construction for YEARS — all of it stacked up by the same party now crying about affordability on camera. The median first-time homebuyer is 40 years old. It was 25 in 1950. That did not happen because of Republicans. That happened because your zoning boards and your regulatory schemes turned a 900-square-foot starter home into a legal impossibility. You are about as useful as a screen door on a submarine when it comes to actually building anything.

Healthcare? Let's use YOUR words. Your own party is currently on television insisting the ACA is "unsustainable" without more COVID subsidies. Say that slower. If Obamacare needs a permanent taxpayer-funded life-support machine just to stay affordable, that is not a Republican talking point — that is a confession. And who wrote those temporary subsidies with an expiration date baked right in? The American Rescue Plan Act of 2021 and the Inflation Reduction Act of 2022. Speaking of the Inflation Reduction Act — the name alone should be studied in a logic class as a case of Orwellian labeling, because that bill was followed by 9.1% year-over-year inflation, the highest in FORTY YEARS. A bill called "Inflation Reduction" delivering the worst inflation since the Carter administration is Quinn's First Law of Liberalism performing live on stage: liberalism always generates the exact opposite of its stated intent. Somewhere a village is missing its economic policy team, and it is currently employed by your party.

Cumulative inflation from January 2021 to January 2025 ran over 21%. That is Biden's Autopen's actual scoreboard, not mine. Groceries, rent, energy, lumber — every single input into "cost of living" went up under the exact administration your video is pretending never happened. You are asking the American people to forget math that happened four years ago. I would not trust you to run a lemonade stand, gentlemen, let alone the federal budget.

So here is my actual question for Rep. Aguilar, since you are on camera anyway: which of the following is true? You did not read the housing and healthcare policy history your own party authored, you are not smart enough to connect your 2021-2022 votes to the 2026 prices you are complaining about, or you know exactly what happened and are hoping your constituents have the memory of a goldfish. Pick one. There is no fourth option where you are simply an innocent bystander to a crisis your own signature helped create.

But what do I know — I am only someone who actually reads the bills, the CPI data, and the zoning statutes before opening my mouth on camera, unlike whoever wrote this script.
