@flowergirl_lon Also my commute is 6 minutes on the train. I refuse to spend longer booking assistance than the journey takes.

I also work unpredictable hours so can't really commit to a regular return journey.

@Tanni_GT @chilternrailway I maintain the view that if you can have WiFi / take a card payment on a train, you ought to be able to offer real time assistance - non-disabled people don't have to book 2 hours in advance so why should disabled people have to?

@KatiePennick I am firmly of the view that if you can take a card payment on a train, you can provide real time assistance - as a fellow wheelie, the booking day before and arrive 20 minutes early thing baffles me.

@NetworkRailLDS @networkrail any update on the lift availability at the south station entrance at Leeds? This really should be appearing as a travel update for customers booking tickets to Leeds as it is a good 10 minutes to walk / wheel to the other side.

If you are still struggling you might want to look at getting an inverter and a large battery to act as a backup - top up the battery via the generator and it should make the setup a little more reliable.

Hi @northernassist, do you know if the lifts to the south entrance of Leeds station are still out of action and if so why this isn't shown on your website as a service update?
