Traditional collectors I’ve spoken with - and even many new ones entering the space - are open to collecting works created digitally. The hesitation isn’t about what the work is, but how it should live in the world. They’re not resistant to the format; they’re simply looking for guidance. And that’s where the ARTIST'S VISION becomes essential.

Think of Sol LeWitt, whose wall drawings came with detailed instructions for execution - transforming the collector into a steward of the concept. Or Yoko Ono, whose instruction pieces turned the viewer into an active participant. In both cases, the artwork was not just an object, but a set of possibilities. The collector's role was to honor that intent.

Digital art operates in a similar way. Whether it's a browser-based piece, a VR sculpture, digital painting or a generative codebase - collectors are ready. They just want ARTISTS to dictate how the work should be installed, experienced or displayed.

Dear friends, I’m so happy and excited to share that our most ambitious exhibition, Living Architecture: Gehry, was unveiled successfully at the Guggenheim Bilbao Museum! We used 50-channel projectors and trained a custom AI Model with ethical data and sustainable computing, using real-time Cloud computing to let iconic gallery 208 dream new worlds. I’m deeply grateful to the entire museum team , our curator for their incredible support, our sponsors for their trust, and my team for making the dream real. It’s an honor to be in a museum with esteemed artists, in a building designed by my hero Frank Gehry in collaboration with his design partner Edwin Chan and legendary Director Juan Ignacio Vidarte, who shaped one of the most important museums in the world for 3 decades. Being present in his last press conference was very emotional, and as he said, it’s time to change for the museum, arts, and humanity. Thank you from my heart!

🌆On Wednesday, we hosted a special event around “Lattice” by the incredibly talented @andreasgysin at @imarabe, on the margin of #NFTParis. The artwork & its display, imagined by Gysin for the space, were inspired by the mashrabiya-like mechanical apertures of the Institute.
