@jonfavs And the US Dept of State is doing a horrible job of evacuating their own citizens from the region. I only got out by being in the right place at the right time. I know many still stuck and the DoS has stopped all evacuation efforts. They are lying by saying people want to stay

@thenewnoticer @StateDept They’ve updated it. Did you stay on the line? About an hour ago I waited on hold for 30 minutes. Got a nice man who answered. He told me Trump & Rubio are saying lots of things that aren’t getting to them. And for me in Doha? Shelter in place. No info on the govt helping.

@CNN @Elex_Michaelson I’m a US citizen in Qatar. The embassy here knows nothing about an order to evacuate. Official STEP information to us is to shelter in place. I’ve called the Doha embassy & US phone number. They all say shelter in place. We have no way to leave and no help.
