@corey_blayne@LeBatardShow I cheered as much as anyone when wemby got booted and I did think the Wolves would run away with it rather than just saunter. But I think it is worth noting that the Wolves were up 2 when wemby elbowed tf out Naz’s neck.
@nickoteen19@barstoolsports It was by his trachea. He looked at Naz’s face, looked down to his neck, pulled his arm back, and then rammed his pointy, pointy elbow into his neck. They scrutinized it. The DJ played, “How Long Has This Been Going On,” and then they deemed it a flagrant 2.
@xlululemongod@barstoolsports He absolutely did not know what he was doing. He’s looking confused and seems shocked he was getting ejected. The crowed going wild while Beat It played should have clued him in.
@iamkyleduckman@MrBuckBuckNBA That would definitely be awful. To be fair, he didn’t understand the rules so he was probably as disappointed.
Fortunately, it was in Minneapolis and there weren’t a ton of Spurs fans there. Although I was lucky enough to have a loud and obnoxious one in front of me.
@The_DocHolliday@Timberwolves@Jmcdaniels7@nuggets “Beat them down for 48 minutes “? Denver was up 4 at the half and then extended their lead to at least 8. But the Wolves demolished them for the last 1/3 of the game. It was brutal. That’s probably what set Jokic off, that they completely fell apart at the end.
@gecffmn She is so clearly mentally ill but has probably terrorized everyone in her life so she’s not likely to get help/support. It is so sad. And that poor driver. Heck, he probably needs trauma treatment now.
@HBAcrypto@bobbiebrewski It does not. “Sieve!” is accompanied by a distinct pointing gesture directed at the goalie. That was a salute and not directed at the goalie.
@CeruleanBlwave@SaltyCaptMac29@UnpackJackMac The Strait of Hormuz is such a big deal. I’m not sure if people understand that. This situation is unprecedented. Opening it is at Iran’s sole discretion. It is the only path for oil from Saudi Arabia, Iraq, Kuwait, UAE, Iran, and Qatar to get to the open sea. We are so ducked.
@storymasterq@MerriamWebster In English “you” is singular and plural, nominative and objective.
“Y’all” cuts its usage in half.
“You” = singular (both nominative and objective.)
“Y’all” = plural (both nominative and objective.)
“All y’all” = basically means “anyone who can hear me say, “All y’all.””
@Joely369@MerriamWebster I think of it as there being a group of 50 and you are talking to someone in a subset of 5.
“Are y’all coming?” means, “Are the 5 of you coming?”
“Are all y’all coming?” means, “Are all 50 of you coming?”
That is the basic idea as to how I view it.
“You” can mean 1-50.
