As a result of a US government directive, we are suspending access to Claude Fable 5 for all users. You can continue to use all other Claude models.
Here’s what this means for you:
Across Claude products, new sessions will run on your selected default model or Opus 4.8, and existing Fable 5 sessions will end with an error.
On the Claude Platform, requests to Fable 5 will also return an error. Please update your integrations to other Claude models.
We know this is a disruption to your workflows; we appreciate your patience and support.

@claudeai As a Pro subscriber, being rate‑limited so many times daily felt like mental torture & harassment. My 2‑month subscription expired, and I feel betrayed by too many added limits. Paying for Pro should mean reliable access, not repeated lockouts.
Sonnet 5 is now the default on Free and Pro, and available to Max, Team, and Enterprise users.
It's live across all Claude apps and the Claude Platform today, with introductory pricing through August 31: https://t.co/4nNWO80Er7
Hi @ZEE5India, I subscribed to FIFA WC plan June 12, 2026 12:42 AM IST. My account is restricted to 1 device, though plan was advertised with 3. Sometimes I can stream on 2 devices, but sometimes it disconnects. Please restore 3-device benefit & ensure stable multi-device access.
I tried ditching typing for speaking using AI tools but something always felt off. Typing (or writing) gives you a buffer in the head to think, revise and explore thoughts in a way that speaking doesn't.
My bet is that if someone does a careful controlled test on quality of work output while typing v/s dictating, we'll see dictation having much worse outcomes.
I'm the Indian guy Alex Hormozi and Tony Robbins are talking about.
I came to the US with a thick Indian accent and was told I'd never get employed anywhere if I couldn’t learn how to speak.
But here’s the thing:
I couldn't afford a speaking coach. I was a janitor barely making ends meet.
So I taught myself how to speak properly, but it wasn’t from a speaking course…
I checked out Tony Robbins tapes from the public library and listened to them every night as I mopped floors.
This is why I live by the saying that not giving up is the most heroic thing you can do.
I could’ve listened to the employers and stayed as a janitor.
But your starting point is not your story… it's just the first chapter of it.
Introducing Claude Sonnet 5, our most agentic Sonnet yet.
It makes plans, uses tools like browsers and terminals, and runs autonomously at a level that just a few months ago required larger and more expensive models.
As engineering, product, design, DS, etc. melt into a new kind of role, I was reflecting on what roles might look like in the future. For example, when I look at the Claude Code team I see what I think is five archetypes:
1. Prototyper: comes up with brand new ideas; churns out many ideas, most of which don't ship
2. Builder: quickly turns a prototype/idea into production-grade product/infra
3. Sweeper: cleans up the UI, simplifies the code and system, unships, optimizes performance
4. Grower: takes a product that has been built and iterates on it to improve Product-Market Fit
5. Maintainer: owns a mature system to make it secure, reliable, fast, and efficient as it scales
Many people span across 2 roles, and sometimes 3 roles. I also notice that these roles are not really tied to job function -- eg. across Anthropic, some designers match category 1, some 2, some 3; same for engineers, PM, DS.
A healthy team needs a mix of these, depending on the product:
- A product that is new and pre-PMF needs people that are strong at 1+2+3
- A product that is growing and has found PMF needs 2+3+4 and some 5
- A product that has strong PMF needs 3+4+5 and some 2
Maybe product roles of the future will look more like this, and less like the domain-specific roles of today?
In a country such as India, this could be a disaster, if the right anti-abuse systems are not set up by WhatsApp.
Imagine receiving a message from warikoo / awarikoo / ankurwarikooo / ankur_warikoo / a_warikoo / ankurwarikooofficial etc etc - soliciting money.
1. Most people don't understand verified status (even if and when it is launched)
2. Cannot be verified through calling the phone number (because username = privacy)
I have fought a legal case against Meta's lack of attempt to bring down AI-generated ads showing my face, luring people into investment WhatsApp groups. I understand how massive this scam is and how easy it is in our country to execute it.
So forgive me, if from a public figure's standpoint, this features raises some serious concerns.
ASHUTOSH FLIPS THE FUNDING QUESTION BACK ON BJP
REPORTER: People claim Rs 21 lakh was spent in 8 days. Where is the funding coming from?
ASHUTOSH RANKA 🎯: Walk around here. People bring food, fruits, juice, water. Someone from Chhattisgarh arranged carpets. This is not one donor’s show, this is a collective movement.
REPORTER: But funding questions are being raised.
ASHUTOSH 🔥: Ask where Rs 50 crore comes from to buy one MP. Students can run a protest with small contributions. BJP should explain the funding behind MP shopping.
@Rahul_J_Mathur 2) b. The depth of talent comes from discovery, alignment, and restorative transformational trust, however instead of proving to be a bridge of depth, I see a bunch of 3 super-greedy businessmen wanting to cash out from their brand value, distribution network, & connections.
@Rahul_J_Mathur 2) A brand founder who is merely transactional, non-transformational, & self-limited won't make it if he/she stays so unless becomes something—A person who is going to make it will surely make it — Ronnie, KB are NOT god's grace that only they can access; 'cannot' is subjective.
"If you really want to make money, found an agentic AI company.
I mean, build an agent to do something. This is the agentic period in AI. Everyone's going to build agents. The agents are all going to compete."

Mr. Arnab Goswami, You ran an entire prime-time show on the basis of an unauthenticated, fake and fabricated video and WhatsApp chats. You owe an unconditional apology to CM @BhagwantMann & the people of Punjab.

Multi-agent systems don't get expensive because the models think too hard. They get expensive because every agent re-reads everything. The token economics of agent fleets
It is stupidly hard to start a pure software company right now.
Customers don't want software, they want outcomes. So you end up having to do a lot of custom work for them.
Anything horizontal is on a ticking clock.
Every customer wants to deeply customize.
There are opportunities.
But you need to have a very heretical 2-3 year view of the world in order to build something good.
