@davidhazony Is that true though? For Israel, for sure, but in my field (biology) only startups can innovate. Big pharma/medical devices/tech-bio isn’t nimble enough and has too much bureaucracy and only innovates through BD (buying startups)
@MarkWhittington@JonahDispatch I would say Gore’s portrayal is less than flattering also. “Do you remember that I said the Cold War was over. Don’t make me be wrong” instead of actually dealing with consequences. They like Gorbachev though
@brianoflondon There’s good reasons to replace Netanyahu. For me, the corruption is overblown, and the judicial reform wasn’t all bad though I don’t like the process, but removing the Haredim is reason enough. But the idea that PM Eisenkot or Bennett and suddenly everyone loves us is laughable
@davidhazony Yes. Anyone who accepts the crab flag rather than lion & sun is a hardliner. Moderates want to return to the lion & sun (there are also some extremists there too, such as absolute monarchists). I think Rubio and Hegseth understand this, but Vance sometimes gets in Trump’s ear…
@davidhazony Why does everyone ignore what is happening in South America? If they continue down the current path, Argentina, Chile, Colombia, Peru etc will also have bigger economies than most of Europe in the future. Not too optimistic about Brazil though
@DanByers12@FriedgeHNIC Bratt is two years younger, puts up more points, and is ~$1 mil cheaper and plays in all situations. If Bratt was traded for Larkin, the picks would be coming to NJ.
@MrWhite1079 Doesn’t Marchenko prefer the right side and Robertson the left? I think if they bring in a true left wing and force Keefe to play Timo on the right side, that’s a whole other acquisition. Trading LW Timo for RW Timo changes everything
@GamecockSheriff@AlexC_NJD Hopefully moving him to right wing and the first powerplay unit. Then we’ll get the Timo we thought we were getting when he was acquired.
@twon8@OklaInspector@michellelprice@maggieNYT@jonathanvswan Actually you can, but it would never happen because then that state can’t give you their electoral votes. Sorry to be pendantic because in effect you’re right but not technically.
@devildorkboy@wyshynski@Canes The next 3 years. 90 oilers, 91 and 92 penguins, even the 93 habs only Frederic Chabot who played one game was about 0.900. Roy was 0.894 that year
@davidhazony If a wealth tax passed, Musk would sell many shares in his companies to raise the cash and decrease their value (over time because of legal restrictions), or borrow. More likely, he would just move the companies and all the jobs to Argentina or the UAE (or fight in court)
@AGHamilton29 Exactly, so giving them a free pass on missiles and proxies just to prevent them from getting a nuclear weapon (which Obama’s deal didn’t do anyway, but those are your other points and my point is even if it did) is counterproductive.
