Happy Bloomsday! ☘️
If James Joyce was writing 'Ulysses' today, Leopold Bloom's experience of life as an Irish Jew would likely be far more concerned with politics and current affairs than his focus on more mundane aspects of life in the novel. #bloomsday
Is there any surprise FIFA would do an economic deal that benefits Myanmar's genocidal military?
FIFA Must Cancel World Cup Broadcasting Contract with Burmese Military https://t.co/fIUHvTRbDz
This Rohingya boy was kidnapped & murdered even after his family paid the demanded ransom.Heartbreaking tragedy for a family that survived genocide & now suffering in camp. This was preventable. There should be no place for kidnappers in the camp & no kidnapper should go unpunished

Today on what would have been her 97th birthday, we remember Anne Frank who was born on 12th June 1929. We remember her, and her incredible diary which still educates and inspires millions across the world today.
Paul Seixas' mouth is writing cheques which his legs may not be able to cash. Luke Tuckwell was 6th overall in this year's Tour de Romandie - he absolutely has the talent and the form to win the overall in the Dauphiné/#TourAuvergneRhoneAlpes
Paul Seixas: "Three minutes lost to Tuckwell is a bit embarassing. I don't know him well but he's not a leader."
Well, he's the race leader now lol. Go Luke!

On her thirteenth birthday, 12 June 1942, Anne Frank recieved a gift of a small notebook which became her diary. She recorded the experience of hiding from the Nazis in an Amsterdam attic. After her family was betrayed, Anne was sent to Bergen-Belsen concentration camp where she was murdered in 1945, aged 15.

This is possibly the saddest thing I've seen in a long time..an immigrant nurse talking about fleeing her home..she saved her UNIFORM. So she could still WORK for our communities.
I'd fill this country with a thousand of this woman than one of those good for nothing thugs.
God help this poor woman.
Internet access on the Tube should be a priority for City Hall - its a big economic contributer. Allowing people to book restaurants, shows, plan where to meet etc. The easier we make this the better it will be for London's economy.
Scrolling the entire length of your Tube journey is closer than ever: the whole network is on course for mobile coverage by the end of the year.
More sections of the Bakerloo, Metropolitan and Circle lines are the latest to go live ⬇️
It's domestic stability that the government should prioritise in the short to medium term. The situation within the UK is currently much more pressing than any international threats.
