Shame on #bellbirdbooks - a new bookstore that was planning on launching Nashville photographer Alyssa Rosenheck’s new book #WhiteBlondeJew until bookstore owner Mary Ann Weprin caved to hatred, bigotry and ignorance and cancelled the launch. Oddly, she previously stated Bell Bird Books “look forward to featuring a diverse slate of authors and perspectives from all walks of life as our programming continues to grow." Except for Jews I guess. I’ll be buying Alyssa’s book elsewhere. Hate has no place in Nashville.
