@haveAcIue @gman5180 All of that research only to get the main fact wrong. The civil war was fought to stop secession, freeing the slaves was simply a tactic used to weaken the confederacy. Freeing the slaves(1863)happened after the start of the war(1861) so it couldn’t be the reason for it.
