Someone who founded PayPal, built a car company and sends rockets into space becoming a trillionaire isn’t weird. Public servants making $174k becoming millionaires is.
Change my mind.
I chose to pay a physician to murder my unborn child in 1991 when I had an abortion.
I was a medical student at the time.
My being chose to ignore the physical and spiritual truth that physical and spiritual life begins at conception.
May God have mercy on my soul.
As Christian physician, I will spend the rest of my days advocating for the truth- abortion is murder and is NOT a medical procedure.
I’ve had a very difficult time just reading about the couple who aborted their Down’s syndrome child. It’s maybe the worst thing I’ve ever seen on social media - and that’s really saying something. It has made me feel physically sick for days now.
I prayed for that baby’s soul last night… that child deserved so much and had a beautiful future ahead. They deserved birth, joy, family, love, - everything the child would have given to the world if they had not been brutally murdered.
My mother was a special needs teacher before meeting my father and one thing she always showed me was how much people with special needs contribute to the world and brighten life. Anyone who has ever met anyone with Down’s syndrome knows how wonderful they are - a true gift in this world.
Please join me in continuing to pray for that baby with me tonight. As for the parents… May God have mercy on their dark, wretched, demonic souls.
I can only think of that Shakespeare quote - “Hell is empty, and all the devils are here.”
About a week ago I attempted to roll down my window at the Chick Fil A drive through, but nothing happened. I opened the car door slightly and explained to the smiling teenager standing there with an iPad that my window button wasn’t working. I tried to restart the car but all I got was a pathetic clicking noise. Instantly it hit me that my car had literally just died in the chick fil a drive through. During the dinner rush. Embarrassed as hell I apologized profusely to the kid, who immediately assured me that this happens all the time and not to worry about it. I was about 45 minutes from home, 7 months pregnant, didn’t have jumper cables with me, and my husband was out of town. He immediately got his manager who got me a chair and a huge glass of ice water, and told me I could wait inside if I wanted to (it was hot as hell) while they figured it out. 3 or 4 coworkers come out to jump my car and doubled up the drive through line on the other side. People were honking for the first 5 mins but they were able to get the line moving quickly and jumped my car so that I was able to move it in about 20 minutes. After this the manager comped me a free meal, anything I wanted. I couldn’t help but wonder how differently this would have played out if I had decided to stop at McDonalds
