@natman1980 @markwil147 @BarryHearn We never ignore any player. We went out on a limb last year and nominated Jackson and Tyler Rees, we then had to argue the case with World Snooker as they originally wanted Welsh Champion and No 1 player, as it turned out we were vindicated by the way both players performed.

@markwil147 @BarryHearn The wildcard event was on our Website under Calendar of events from last August and every player knew what the wildcard criteria would be for this season. (Welsh Champion and Winner of wildcard tournament).

The post on our website says from 2018 onwards, the Season doesn't start until September. Criteria up to now has not been regulated so therefore could not have been changed. That is why we nominated Jackson and Tyler last year instead of Alex Taubmann and Darren Morgan.

We nominated Tyler Rees and Jackson Page into Welsh Open last year.
They were neither Welsh Champion or Welsh number 1 from the 2016 qualifying season. #putsomethingbackin
