I have been trying to recover a wrongly transferred amount in Sri Lanka for months (3).

The current regulation in Sri Lanka sucks. You need the beneficiary consent for reversal.

I entered the name (not verified by the bank) but a single digit difference and it is gone. /1

This needs a change as in a name verification. In Europe even though it allows you to send; it verifies the name first and ask if it is correct. Also an IBAN [account number, check digit] if one number is wrong and the whole IBAN is wrong. /3 @CBSL @anuradisanayake

I've been contact with the bank ever since and all I get is "we are waiting for the beneficiary consent from the bank" which is not ideal and genuine cases such as this need to be handled differently. /2

If I have to lay out why:
1. Cost of maintenance
2. Electricity cost

If first world countries are not doing it Sri Lanka is nowhere near capable.

@UberEats I received a wrong article and I cannot literally eat it as I am lactose intolerant. When I tried the support it didn’t give me a solution and just closed it. No: 98D97

@amazon I am disappointed today by the CSR. I have ordered using prime. Before 2 days it didn’t come on time and said in 2 days will be delivered. So, I had to cancel and the had contact the CSR get the refund. Today, the same again! Idk the point of prime!

@amazon today ordered the same day. Delayed again. Cancelled with CSR and expecting an instant refund so that I can reorder or at least to send it morning prime window. Alas, I am being redirected to different agents!

@nisalrenuja @ImperfectSoul_2 Yes! The fake AirPods (I knew those were fake) bought for a friend. The serial said genuine, it connected to the phone like an original would do.
