Because no amount of "I love you" can erase the fact that you looked at my worth, weighed it against your urge and picked the urge. Cheating isn’t a mistake,it’s a decision. A deliberate, selfish act made while knowing exactly who it would hurt.
I want to thank @NetflixSA and @stainedglasstv_ for taking my story from print to film. This is such a surreal moment for me!!
#ThePolygamist is my debut novel, the book that got rejected by many publishers. So I took a bet on myself and self published. The bet paid off!!
@tiredfeminist_@Mcloopz_ 😭😭 they are all stressing me honestly all of them… Another one wants more kids but complains that he is never at home a lot and is angry that he didn’t freeze his sperms when he had Vasectomy.. Like Girrrlll..
When Adam ate the fruit and God came to him, God found him hiding.
God asked, “Adam, where are you?”
Adam replied, “I heard You in the garden, and I was afraid because I was naked; so I hid.”
Then God asked him a powerful question:
“Who told you that you were naked?”
Numbers 13:33, when Moses sent spies to scout the Promised Land, they went and came back with a report. This is what they said:
“We saw the giants, the descendants of Anak… and we were like grasshoppers in our own eyes, and so we were in their eyes.”
Pause there. God did not call them grasshoppers.
God did not reduce them. God did not label them as small or weak. That description came from their own fear.
The pattern is the same in both stories. Adam hid because he accepted a voice that produced shame. The spies retreated because they accepted a voice that produced inferiority.
Never listen to a voice that makes you hide, shrink, or disqualify yourself. If it did not come from God. Fear always lies about who you are before it defeats you in life.
Before you step back, give up, or lose confidence, ask the same question God asked Adam:
Who told you?
@PVTRIC98@_shwabade_ They no longer do fireworks at Carnival City due to complains that it disturbs the animals. So it’s just events and no fire works.
