First, income tax on your salary,

Then pay GST or cess ,
Road tax separately,
Municipal corporation tax,
And 18% GST on car / bike insurance.
toll tax for the rest of your life,
Education cess and surcharge

The biggest question is how many layers a salaried taxpayer pays tax through income tax , GST ?

If you have ever written a single line of code in any language, you did it in Dennis Ritchie’s shadow.

He died in 2011.
The same week as Steve Jobs.
Jobs got the front pages.
Ritchie got silence.

This Legend deserves to be celebrated.

30 years in PMC. Still waiting for basic infrastructure. Dhanori is yet to get completed DP roads and proper drainage. Every monsoon: flooded roads, massive traffic jams, and residents paying the price.

Meanwhile, new constructions keep getting approvals. Build more. Fix nothing. Repeat every monsoon.

After 3 decades, this isn’t a “delay” anymore.
It’s a policy of neglect.

Pune’s municipal area grew 330% in 30 years.
Road network is still stuck at 8% (should be 15%).
1,300 new vehicles every single day.

65 junctions already need flyovers. And the monsoon quota is already finished.

The city expanded. The water came on schedule.
The roads simply never got the memo.

Three decades of the same neglect is not delay, It’s policy. Thousands of meetings / surveys done but nothing existed on ground.

प्रत्येक गोष्टीवर समित्या नेमा, अहवाल गोळा करु आणि social मीडियावर पोस्ट करून दुर्लक्ष करत विलंब करा आणि हेच धोरण बनले आहे

Example:
धानोरीला PMC मध्ये सामील होऊन जवळपास ३० वर्षे झाली.

तरीही पूर्ण झालेल्या DP रस्त्यांची आणि मूलभूत ड्रेनेज व्यवस्थेची प्रतीक्षा कायम आहे. प्रत्येक पावसाळ्यात रस्ते पाण्याखाली जातात, वाहतूक कोंडी होते आणि नागरिकांना त्रास सहन करावा लागतो.

नवीन बांधकामांना मात्र मंजुरी मिळतच राहते; पण शहराच्या मूलभूत सुविधांचा पाया सुधारण्याची इच्छाशक्ती मात्र दिसत नाही.

तीन दशकांचा हा दुर्लक्ष आता विलंब नाही ... हेच धोरण बनले आहे.

Government sets deadlines, holds meetings, promises “pothole-free Chakan by August.” Then PWD dumps murum and 9–10 vehicles get stuck the same week.
This isn’t a #delay. It’s proof the willingness stops at press conferences.

#Chakan: At least 9 to 10 vehicles have reportedly become stuck in potholes in front of #ICICIBank in #Mahalunge after the Public Works Department (PWD) filled the damaged stretches with murum (soil/gravel).

The repeated incidents have raised serious concerns over the quality of the repair work and alleged negligence by the administration. Residents have questioned why temporary and inadequate repairs are being carried out despite public money being spent on road maintenance.

The situation has also raised concerns over the safety of motorists, with locals demanding proper and durable repairs instead of temporary measures that could put lives at risk.

I genuinely wonder how @Dev_Fadnavis is tolerating this. A few things like Pune’s #AirportRoad and #NavaleBridge issues still need serious attention, yet the he and his team seems to have plenty of time for reels and publicity. Pune needs roads and solutions, not just videos. #Pune
