@sarah__graceee@edenlittle9@dalle_rutledge Maybe the wild ones are different but the first dead one I missed got nasty and they didn't clean it up. Occasionally I'll find a jaw bone floating from when the other barn help missed one. I always thought the same thing but they're not as good at cleaning up as told to be.
That's for 2 reasons. You can't go broke waiting for that chance that'll take 20 years. And the old timers won't back off some control of the operations. And then they lease the ground to big outfits bc they're money hungry. The old timers have made it this way and it's sad.
The most sought after commodity in Agriculture right now...
Might be young, hard working people (that are willing to relocate)
I often wonder if these young people understand the unbelievable opportunities that are out there for them?
The demand is high and supply is low.
@CJpage17@dalle_rutledge That's bc why put in 20 years of scrapping by to maybe have a chance at the operation. I've been their with our small beef operation. Was more then willing to handle the care of the animals but didn't gave the backing to care for em so said screw it and set out on my own path.
@kansasangus Ok but the old timers actually have to give up some control. I see a lotta places with kids willing but the owners won't back off and give them some control. Dealt with it personally.
@SteelDragons52 @tessa_tesla69 You're so stupid. Cowboys need hay and grains to feed their horses and cattle. Farmers grown that. Cowboys need a place for the calves to go. Farmers raise the grains for the feedlot definitely goes hand in hand.
