there are some issues, like some coaches win simply because they coach a QB in his prime, but in general it captures who the best coach is in a given year a lot better than the actual award
@neumdawg The Raiders remind me of the Elway Broncos. Always easy to see the stars and wonder what they’ll do with solid QB play, while overlooking the massive issues elsewhere.
Per PFR, he had a 46.7% success rate, worse than Lucas Krull, who sucks, and Marvin Mims, the most boom-or-bust player in the league. It is simply unacceptable how poor he was at picking up necessary yards for a first.
The small things LJH did were appreciated, but the name of his game was reliability. He was a veteran slot on a team of bad TEs and young WRs and had to move the chains when asked.
