Great Day at @limerockpark for the employee appreciation party. Got to race go karts (I came in last but I was competing against 20 -40 yr olds) and got to take my Audi out on the track behind a pace car for several laps! Looking forward to Miatacon this weekend.
@EncylopediaPapa@DudespostingWs Wrong. I drive over this bridge all the time. It isn’t a high volume bridge. It is a one car alternate bridge, with stop signs and signs stating that on both sides. Generally it works fine, except when you get a driver like the white truck driver.
@Vinosaucy@DudespostingWs Wrong. I know this covered bridge, it’s in my town. There are stop signs on each side of it. One vehicle goes, then another from the other side goes. It’s not a construction zone. It’s an alternating vehicle traffic zone, clearly stated! The guy in truck was totally wrong!!
@theamelia__ Absolutely!
When I got home from school I would have a quick snack then tell my Mom which friend’s house (really meant which yard) I would be at. Her response would be either ‘be home before dark’ or ‘be home before dinner’ depending on the time of year.
We always had fun!
@LeesaWho@OEimhear Don’t give up on that photo! Try contacting the state & local historical societies, the Library of Congress, and even the school itself if it still exists. Lots of these companies obtain their old photos thru those sources, most for a small fee. I worked with people who did that.
@ThrillaRilla369 In the last month I have visited and had dinner with 7 great friends, that I have known since 1967.
That includes tonight, where my old HS buddy and his wife (his HS sweetheart) enjoyed lobster rolls with myself and my wife at a harbor-side joint on a beautiful summer evening
