@marketswithmay Firstly, he would retire Excel and utilise NumPy, Pandas and Matplotlib. Add-in a cheeky bit of SciPy and sklearn, and he would be doing the PC equivalent of parting the Red Sea…
Honestly, I’m starting to lose faith in people.
The vitriol and poor decorum directed toward @anthonynoto genuinely troubles me. I understand that the teachings of Stoicism encourage us to rise above such behaviour, to focus on what we can control, and to remain unmoved by the opinions of others. Yet I find it difficult to stand by silently when I see someone being treated unfairly and, in many cases, unjustifiably.
Fortunately, one of the hallmarks of great leadership is the ability to remain focused on a larger mission despite the noise. Anthony appears to possess that quality in abundance. He seems undeterred in pursuing what he has often described as his life’s ambition, regardless of the criticism that surrounds him.
Still, I feel compelled to speak up. Not because criticism should be silenced, but because balance matters. For every outlandish comment, there are countless shareholders who deeply appreciate and respect what he has built, the vision he has articulated, and the discipline with which he continues to execute.
“Character is revealed not when things are easy, but when adversity arrives. The measure of a leader is not whether they attract criticism, but whether they remain steadfast in pursuit of a worthy aim despite it.”
@Kenmegan44 This is awesome! 🙌
Show her the compounded returns of her pocket money from age 12 to 65 … 😀
(Oh, how I wish I had that investment time horizon) haha
@marketswithmay May. This was beautiful ❤️
Please share this “project” once you have the courage to get it done! May I suggest (no pun intended) “The War on Art” (book), as a helpful prod 😀
@Kenmegan44 My friend. You’re not alone. I find great solace in my “Bible” - ‘Meditations’ by Marcus Aurelius. This book has been invaluable to me over the years.
@Tim_Sweeney_TAR@stevenfiorillo Yes! I have to say, like most things SoFi related, I often “borrow” from you Tim! 😀 Your name is mentioned quite a lot in our household (together with Chris Hoeger) and also with friends who also follow SoFi!
@stevenfiorillo
This is a great video 👏🏻 🙌
I couldn’t stop smiling through all of your slides, as I literally created a VERY similar PowerPoint slide deck for my wife to convince her why it was a “no-brainer” to invest more of our hard-earned capital into SoFi!
