I'm researching #Airbnb and #VRBO prices. I saw the same listing on both platforms and VRBO was significantly cheaper. I reached out to the host, and they didn't even know. Are you team #VRBO or #Airbnb and Why?
My favourite second hand children's clothing/toy store is closing, I'm very sad for them but we can still support them by shopping for the holidays - https://t.co/uejFlFPSdh
All of this hit me super hard today as I looked at my Jewish children's innocent faces, holding their tiny clammy hands. Knowing that people out there would hurt innocent children because they are Jewish. Tonight, I'll be praying for peace. #LightForIsrael
As many of you know, on Saturday I posted about my cousin's niece, Adi Kaplon-Vital, who'd been abducted from her home in Israel and was missing. Last night we received terrible news. Adi was murdered by Hamas. Adi was a mother of two young children. To have her life ended by terrorists has been devastating to her family, and mine.
As a family and a Jewish community, we're obviously all in mourning. And what makes that process so much harder is the media culture we're living in. To see people celebrate terrorism and try to justify the brutal kidnapping and murder of innocent women and men, children, babies, and the elderly has made me wonder whether the whole world has gone mad. Human tragedy is human tragedy. It doesn't matter your nationality, religion, or political viewpoint. This is a time for mourning, not celebration. My heart is heavy with the loss of life of innocent Israeli and Palestinian civilians.
I read something this morning. Of all the words I've seen trying to make sense of what's happening in the world, this one resonated with me in the most profound way. Thank you to Judianne Grace, an indigenous Canadian artist, for your words of humanity and comfort at this most devastating time. And thank you to the countless friends and colleagues who have reached out. Your support means more than you know.
Asked #ChatGPT to assume the role of the creator of the TV series #BlackMirror and compose a plot summary around AGI and its integration into human society by 2025.
Here is what I got. Pretty... pretty... pretty good.
