Today at 7.00pm Roscommon Sinn Féin will launch a commemorative video & wreath laying in memory of Vol. James Tormey from Moate, Co. Westmeath killed in action at Cornafulla, Co. Roscommon 100 years ago today https://t.co/w3qJ3uYzCT @Tributes32@westmeathindo@AthloneAdvert
Out and about in Roscommon today with local election candidate Christine McDonagh. Good to talk to people at the farmers market about the upcoming elections and a good excuse to pick up some lemon drizzle cake from Padraig at the bakery 🍰

The CAO points for 2023 have been released and to those who got their desired courses, we want to wish you all the very best.
And for those who didn't, despite the disappointment it's not the end of the world. Today will undoubtedly be a significant day for many young people.
Article I wrote for the @RoscommonHerald last week on Thomas 'Tom' Hughes from Gallow's Hill, Bogginfin, Athlone who was executed by Free State forces in Custume Barracks, Athlone along with 4 of his comrades 100 years ago in January 1923.
Today in Athenry we commemorated the 100th anniversary of Liam Mellows' execution in December 1922.
Thanks to everyone who came out and took part in today's event.
It was a fitting tribute to one of Galway's greatest Republican heroes 🇮🇪

I welcome the publication of the report by the Child Maintenance Review Group and look forward to reading it. Child Maintenance is an issue I’ve consistently raised and the publication of this report is really important.
Message to Lone Parent families - if the Minister does not act to implement important changes to the treatment of maintenance when it comes to social welfare supports as recommended by the Child Maintenance Review Group I will bring forward these amendments in upcoming SW Bill
Something so moving about Ireland celebrating their World Cup qualification by *belting* out Taylor Swift in the dressing room. So much sadness around at the minute but this is pure joy 💕 #COYGIG
Happy to clarify. This call follows a misleading headline from the Independent (😱🙄) on long standing party policy. Welcome to the Minimum Essential Standard of Living (MESL) Minister and media. I’ve published policy on this and legislation twice - all detailed.
Massive thank you to Enda Smith for taking the time to write back to my daughter Amelia with some great advice. Thank you also for sending her one of your training tops which she plans to wear to her next training session with mayobridge under 8’s. Top man
I recently met with locals at Lough Funshinagh with my colleague @ClaireKerrane TD and it was clear to see the devastation that this flooding has caused to the local community. We need to see urgent solutions. #LoughFunshinagh#Funshinagh

Thanks to Valerie & her team for having me at #Arigna Mining Experience. A unique attraction, bringing to life the history of Ireland’s coal mining industry. Easy to see why it has become such a popular destination. #Roscommon#Leitrim

"The Housing Crisis is crippling my generation Taoiseach. This is the reality of your housing policy, and no amount of spin can change that."

Good to speak to @LMFMRADIO on our proposals for a Child Maintenance Service to support lone parent families and put children first. Research shows when paid maintenance can play a role in lifting children out of poverty @SparkIreland@1familyireland
