The 16 days of activism are still ongoing and our Rose Uganda team participated by sharing healthcare knowledge with the people of Buikwe district. A training that took place @nyengafoundation with around 70 people that learnt about Nutrition, and how to make reusable pads.
@rose_academies holds a successful event stressing the need for improved nutrition to prevent malnutrition and stunting of growth. Thank you @rose_uganda for your efforts to bring this important topic to attention.

On #HumanRightsDay and everyday we advocate for improved access to healthcare education and services; social justice and equal rights for all. We share knowledge to save lives.
Imagine growing up in a village.. not learning about disease..antenatal & neonatal care...nutrition... This is what we teach in our workshops.
Now, imagine that your $20 could save a child's life. How? It's very simple. You donate so we can teach!

We are very pleased to feature Brad Wang, MPH graduate student @TAMU_SPH whose practicum project is set to make a significant difference in reducing the severe inequities of mental healthcare for adolescents in Uganda.
Our nutrition workshops are gaining in popularity as mothers learn that their children have substantial improvement in their health when they fortify porridge using readily available grains and protein.
Children like Joshua are beginning to have better health as a result of our nutrition workshops. @rose_academies works to end #malnutrition so that children will live and thrive. You can support our efforts: https://t.co/gaajl2R0dl
There is no health without mental health. Our meetings with various stakeholders have been exceptional as we have been discussing health issues and solutions for our Ugandan beneficiaries. Thank you Joshua for taking time from your busy schedule to meet.
