@mstiefvater I would say The Apple and The Pearl by Rym Kechacha would hit the mark. Traveling ballet and orchestra troupe on a magical train, lots of magical realism and supernatural elements, beautiful prose and wonderful character writing! Read it as an advance copy and loved it
