I beg to fall in love with Thee, my Lord
With every breath of life I take
Its every beat, I to Thee forsake
For even if my heart falls short of loving you
And even if my spirit hides away
Your love for me surpasses all my fear
All I do, all I am, all that I can ever be
Peter and Paul did not believe in words, but in deeds. Peter did not speak about mission, he was a fisher of men; Paul did not write learned books, but letters of what he experienced as he traveled and bore witness.
So many times I think we approach prayer as a way to make God present to us when in reality He is always present. In prayer we make ourselves present to Him.
Imagine living in constant prayer being constantly present to God. Holiness is not far from this.
Christ is alive and desires that each of you live. He is the true beauty and youth of this world. Everything he touches becomes young, becomes new, full of life and meaning.
I invite each one of you to look with confidence to the Sacred Heart of Jesus and to repeat often, especially during this month of June: Jesus, meek and humble of heart, transform our hearts and teach us to love God and our neighbor with generosity.
