@viggy_krishnan@jukan05 Ya I was saying that’s bearish Broadcom. I think if it’s only a handful of ASICs that are successful, they might look to other suppliers as well
@Midnight_Captl Fundamentals are simple. Jensen has said it himself. They are gaining share. Market talks about them losing share but they aren’t even just maintaining. They are gaining share.
@PythiaR Why is the reset whenever NVDA reaches new highs? I thought a lot of investors were short NVDA, long other names. In the sell off, wouldn’t the short go up?
@PythiaR@dennisihong What do you think about software companies buying back stock at these levels? What other uses do they have for their cash? The thing that’s really concerning me is the levered buybacks. Can it really show the market a signal that it’s been missing?
@blueprintsmb22 Oh no, I think it’s a great place to start off. Just the people I have met have mainly gone to be treasurers at companies or joined convert advisory firms
@bucketshopcap It could happen. NVDA going to miss 213.4bn consensus estimates for the year. Won’t matter bc they’ll hit 400bn vs 324bn 2027E. See you at $345 next year
@fabknowledge Aren’t they going to do very well in the enterprise API market though too? Also can they not distill the models to be better and cheaper than what Anthropic or OpenAI can release?
@JerryCap Or TSM is the new NVDA. It can now raise prices and threaten customers who try to defect by limiting allocation. TSM silicon is what the companies seem to want and if it’s risky to upset Wei then he’s the king
