AIIMS Raipur participated in Chhattisgarh’s state-level flood disaster preparedness exercise. The team demonstrated deployment of the Government of India’s BHISHM Cube, showcasing rapid, technology-enabled medical response during disasters. @AIIMS@MoHFW_INDIA
Never understood when hundreds of doctors are struggling for jobs, most of the private colleges run on ghost faculties and govt colleges run on none. The quality of medical education has hit a new low. It high time to stop permissions to new colleges. #neet
AIIMS Raipur and NIT Raipur signed an MoU to advance AI-driven healthcare research in Chhattisgarh. The partnership will combine clinical expertise with AI and engineering capabilities to develop innovative, practical healthcare solutions.@MoHFW_INDIA@PMOIndia@ChhattisgarhCMO
This may be considered a controversial statement but EM being a feeder branch for Neuro or Cardio makes little sense.
EM is fundamentally a different branch to general medicine so it makes little sense to try to make it eligible for such branches.
Posting on X again after a hiatus of 1.5 years !!! 😍🙏🙏
Happy to share our Original article accepted in GIE (Gastrointestinal Endoscopy) @GIE_Journal 🥰
"Endoscopic ultrasound–guided coil and glue embolization of gastric varices targeting feeder vessel versus submucosal variceal component: a pragmatic comparative analysis (with videos)"
135 GV analysed using EUS-coil+glue combination (EUS-F = 32; EUS-SVC =103)
▶️Primary outcome: Reintervention rates at 6 months
EUS-F approach resulted in:
✅ lower requirement of coils and glue at index presentation and 6 months
✅ lower reintervention rates (3.1% vs 17.5%; P = .04)
✅ lower EUS sessions for complete obliteration (p=0.02)
⏩ For EUS-guided angioembolization of GV, targeting the feeder vessel, when feasible and discernible, over SVC (conventional method) results in significantly lower requirements of coil and glue, with significantly lower reintervention rates, which might translate to a more cost-effective strategy.

@thenerdnxtdoor2 It is not PG that makes you depressed. Seed is shown long before, when you choose medical line..the intense competition to get a UG seat the 4.5 yrs of endless course slowly breaks you..if you haven't built resilience PG will just fast track your breakdown.
@DhruvMundhraYT@anand_blr80 Degrees give you 1st move advantage but competency sustains you. Your faculty being in a medical college has created a name for himself over a period of time, so the learning is focus on acquiring skills and be patient.
@DrDatta_AIIMS@PMOIndia Completely agree research salaries are pennies as compared to what corporates pay so why would good people join to develop something. At 35-40k you get freshers who have no basic knowledge, no motivation to work.
Whosoever has been selected in UPSC, a small piece of advice for your own good.
In the coming days, you’ll be giving plenty of interviews and media bytes. Just say you’re happy, that your efforts paid off; thank your parents and teachers, standard stuff.
In the over-excitement, try to avoid grand declarations about changing society, serving humanity, cleaning the system, transforming the system, etc.
Because if you ever get caught in a scam in your pursuit of rashtr-nirmaan, and statistically, some of you will, those very clips will be replayed endlessly by social media and will cause huge embarrassment for you. Better to keep the bytes modest. Future you might be grateful.
@DrJAIDEEPK2023@DrRohanKrishna3@NMC_IND@MoHFW_INDIA Actually 3 year tenured post of SR...has lots of perks which adminstartion can avoid giving if adhoc appointment is given. When I see from departments perspective, if you get 2-3 SRs who are not willing to work, I have an option not to grant extension and find new SRs
@DrRohanKrishna3 EWS post can be converted to UR if no one fulfills the criteria. Govt has rule that you can appoint UR against category for 44 days, which can be used if seats are chronically remaining empty
@DrAditya2935 With current system of red tapism and institional politics...very difficult for genuinely hard working general candidates to stay in these institutes. They will get better recognition and pay in private setup.
@drbabukv@FAIMA_INDIA_@progressiveMDs@IMAIndiaOrg In most instute category seats lie empty even after multiple recruitments and that is never converted to UR seats even when there is laid down rules for convertion.
