@alexadobrien It takes practice. The more you do it, the more comfortable it is. Pretty soon you find that you've worked through those voices in your head that tell you not to. Then it stops being a barrier and you find yourself doing things because you want to.

@dakminn @notdoppleganger @JimmyJenkins @samswey They are complaining. At .30/hr plus having to pay for their room and electricity, there's no chance of saving for their release. Plus, there are few opportunities to learn meaningful job skills and few employers hiring felons. We could do so much better at reducing recitivism

@ambernoelle My dog does something similar but only in one spot along the base of her tail. Her fur gets really thin from all the scratching. I now give her water that I get from a filtered water kiosk. That keeps the condition at bay as long as I don't give her tap water.
