@Feargal_Sharkey, I'm flagging up the impending use of Glyphosate to a local, Edinburgh field- a haven for many different species of flora and fauna (including nesting skylarks). There is a burn beside the field which runs into the River Forth. Environmental hell! Help, please..

@tenstorey @gailporteee @thegordonkerr @Beathhigh We really are so spoiled in Edinburgh. How lucky we are to have so much green space, historic and iconic buildings, fascinating history, an extinct volcano AND beautiful beaches from where whales and dolphins are sometimes seen :)

@tenstorey @gailporteee @thegordonkerr @Beathhigh I was trying to remember today if there were two or three men's hostels there too. I can definitely remember two. Lots of sad stories. I think they all got moved on as the area became very fashionable and touristy. Although there may still be one left - I'm not sure
