@usgraphics I used LibreHardwareMonitor's API for fetch metrics for a similar project: https://t.co/go0wKG8vq5
However Windows Defender seems to flag it nowadays.
The problem with 3D printing is that all the modeling software sucks (or maybe it's just not made for the programming minded). The closest user friendly one is @Shapr3D (but the license costs A LOT). Tried Fusion, FreeCAD and the bunch but I get frustrated so quickly.
@drmillybarker I built on for myself. It's a Python script that asks a bunch of personal questions that only a few people would know. Answer them and it spits out an encryption key based on a hash of the answers. That key unlocks an archive on an USB stick.
I would blame DDR5 but it was the same for my previous one with DDR4. Also mobo manufacturers are so cheap they can't put in a proper cheapo 128x64 LCD on the mobo to show the boot process.
Spent another 4 hours getting the PC to boot after minor things (watercooling adjustments). I even too great care to make sure it doesn't know it's being moved. It knows. After 4 hours of CMOS reset, checking every component, disconnecting GPU, etc., it just decides to work.
@boredabdel Got freaked out in Paris once when we took the frontmost subway car, there was no driver and you could see the tunnel ahead of you. It was really cool. Luckily no subway horses.
