5 journalists among 20 killed by Israel in strike on hospital -Gaza officials say. They were documenting the suffering, the bombings, the starvation until their last breaths. Reuters cameraman Hussam al-Masri was operating a live camera at the time of the strike ( one of two).
@ChrisStringer65 I’m at le Musée National de Préhistoire in Les Eyzies & it is epic. But I have a question: why do interpretations of hominin fossils in life so often have their mouth hanging open? If we want to see teeth, could they smile? Then they look friendly, not stupid
When the apartheid regime murdered 69 people at Sharpeville in 1960, it sparked outrage and a world-wide campaign against S Africa.
It is a shame-filled thing to be part of a world now that watches the murder of a whole people in real time each day, shrugs and flips channels.
You're watching armed French cops attacking a father and his small child yesterday as they try to board a boat bound for the UK. This is what our ruling class has decided will be normal. This is what fascism looks like.
Those described by Tommy Robinson as 'concerned families' are seen here peacefully protesting outside a refugee hotel at Epping. Any resemblance to violent far right racist fuckwits is purely coincidental.
@Essex_Travel Hello! Any thoughts on the a12 southbound by Chelmer Village? Were stationery, there was smoke, now out, two police, two ambos, two fire, and a plain clothes car. Obv hope everyone’s alright but also interested in timeframes - we’ve got three hot kids in the car.
Children in Gaza wish they were dead.
Keir Starmer, David Lammy: read that line again.
The depths of human suffering felt by children in Gaza are immeasurable. No child should experience even a second of these horrors, let alone 20 months.
Yet, the UK continues to transfer arms to Israel.
The UK Government must immediately halt all arms transfers to Israel and demand accountability for every life lost and every family torn apart.

Yesterday, I met my colleague, a fellow lawyer in Gaza. I could barely recognize him his features had completely changed. The war has drained him, just as it has drained all of us. But in his eyes, there was a pain deeper than any words could express.
I approached him, and we spoke He told me, in a broken voice, that he bears the burden of providing for an entire family fifteen souls. He is responsible for their food, water, and medicine, and he has nothing.
He was searching for scraps to keep his children alive, anything to help them survive. And during our conversation, he told me something that made the ground feel like it was collapsing beneath my feet: he confessed that he has started thinking about suicide. He said it while lowering his head, his eyes welling with tears. He told me that sometimes he walks into areas where he knows there are Israeli snipers hoping he won’t come back. He can’t take it anymore. He can no longer bear the helplessness, or the cruelty of watching those he loves suffer while being unable to offer them anything no food, no water, not even clothes.
I helped him as much as I could, and I will continue to help him in the coming days.
His words still echo in my ears This is not just a colleague, but a human being whose dignity has been shattered under the weight of war and hunger, whose spirit is crumbling from the horror of what he lives through every day.

@LNER Morning. Help pls! Baffled by ticketing: Your website says tickets for 23/5 are not yet available to book. Trainline says we can book now. How will there be any tickets left to book if trainline has already sold them all and can I choose my seats on your website?
