Those replies represent one of the major issues of European security, and it's a delusion that Russia is weak because it can't achieve any substantial territorial gains in Ukraine.

The reality is that the Ukrainian army is the most experienced army in the world. Before the full-scale invasion, we also owned more tanks, artillery systems, and jets than half of the European countries combined and already had battle-hardened soldiers who knew the enemy well.

Almost no other European countries have such advantages, and it's dangerous to think any of them are able to stop them easily. Especially when they have already learned how to fight and are constantly adjusting their tactics.

Yes, it's cannon fodder assaults, but they are ready to sustain millions of casualties, unlike any other country. And trust me, they have well-trained, highly experienced units that have massive experience they can share with their partners.

This bravado may cost us, Europeans, another million lives, so everybody should be prepared and help Ukraine, rather than simply dismiss the enormous threat that Russia poses.

The worst thing you can do is to underestimate the enemy, but we keep making the same mistakes over and over again.
