We were honoured to welcome Ms Irene from Rotary E-Club Distrito 4740 Inspiração and her friend, who travelled all the way from Brazil to Uganda to visit Ineze the student they hosted during her one-year Rotary Youth Exchange.

When people cross oceans for a child who was once a stranger, you realise Rotary Youth Exchange is more than a programme. It's family.

One brave "goodbye" can change a lifetime.
Some dreams are too big to stay within borders

Yesterday, our final Rotary Youth Exchange orientation was filled with smiles, nerves, stories and hope.

Soon, these remarkable young Ugandans will begin new chapters in Argentina, Brazil, Colombia, the USA and Canada.
