The Pitchfork writer who reviewed "TLOAS: The Encore" admitted that they let the media narrative obscure Taylor’s actual music, noting that they initially hated "The Tortured Poets Department" but now consider it one of her best and most interesting records. 🤔
Drugged a women and raped her. He Wants to be a doctor. If he escapes this time, he will be a predator lose in hospitals probably raping women in ICU. Ruin his life now.
Taylor’s storytelling is like no other. When she brings those ideas behind the camera, we get to watch her vision come to life on screen. 🎬 Give it up for your first ever #VMAs Artist Director Honor recipient, Taylor Swift 👏
The Patient Zero video is finally out in the world! Getting to work with Emmanuel Lubezki was something out of a dream sequence, and I learned so much from getting to watch his genius in action. I want to thank Dakota and Colin for trusting me with their time, taste, and talent (Giggling with your friend because you’re twinning for an entire shoot was a new and truly delightful experience). And Colin’s turn as a villain is even more impressive when you get to be around him. He’s an absolute light and as kind as they come. Cara, thank you for agreeing to play the lusty other woman. That’s what friends are for?
With the Patient Zero video, I got to explore the cinematic and literary genres I love so much. I wanted to incorporate elements of gothic ghost stories, true crime, psychological thrillers all in a setting I hadn’t really shot in much. The house was a metaphor for the coldness of a relationship that’s faded and atrophied. Thank you to Ethan Tobman for your insightful production design, and bringing that feeling to life. My editor Chancler Haynes has outdone himself. And lastly, thank you to the VMAs for giving us a World Premiere at the place where celebrating music videos became a thing. And so much love for you guys, always. Watch now on https://t.co/5gUyQ8yBJf
it’s funny that people think reputation’s songs are examples of superior songwriting today because people absolutely hated that album when it came out too lol
It’s funny how this entire Max-Shellback production discourse is making people want Jack Antonoff to come back… the same people who asked Taylor to stop working with him in 2024 because they wanted a 1989 2.0 with Max and Shellback.
My brand new album BOYSTOWN is out in the world today. An intense labor of love, written & produced in three weeks, and released under my own imprint. I rediscovered so much of myself making this album, and I hope you can find a piece of yourself in it too https://t.co/nJ9pX8vPlh
