@Sean_Speer His job is to get as many Liberal candidates elected as possible. His strategy will change depending on the best course of action to get that done. As Liberals we need to be understanding of that and have an open-mind.
@maxfawcett Thanks Max, you've been on this and it is very exciting news. I'm onboard with you hoping for the worst. Wide spread destruction of Alberta communities and families will usher in a new era!
With policies that encouraged higher asset prices, Trudeau increased the price of my home 5-fold, the price of my stocks 4-fold, and brought in low skill workers to watch our kids, do our housework and deliver our dinner, Trudeau has truly made my life better. He has my vote!
I'm calling on every Canadian on X to share how Justin Trudeau has made your life a little easier during these challenging economic times. We need to tell our stories frequently to remind Canadians why he deserves to be reelected.

@TheBreakdownAB This is exciting! I share your enthusiasm and we can only hope that this is devastating to Albertan families so we can get the UCP out!
@acoyne Seems like a natural next step. Need to do this more broadly across wide range of issues, with a governing body or appointed experts that determine what is truth and turns over prosecution of what isn't to law enforcement.
@andrew_leach Inflation did its job. My assets are higher, my debts lower in real terms. Yeoman's work for the wealthy. We are unironically blessed to have had Trudeau.
@maxfawcett Fiscal stimulus from both sides contributing to higher productivity growth and investment in future while Canada chooses to hold the line on the deficit to insure fairness for all.
@trevortombe If I have a good idea for a new piece of software, where I expect years of losses, have a fairly low probability of being a big winner and, if I do end up a big winner, my exit will be a sale to a larger firm, this change impacts my decision on where I domicile.
@maxfawcett Wait, so the carbon tax adds 1% annually to food price inflation? Doesn't that mean that the carbon tax is adding ~0.15% to overall inflation (food=15% of basket)? On a 2% inflation target then, it would contribute 7.5% of total inflation. I didn't realize it was this much.
Ukrainians are on the frontline fighting not just for their freedom, but ours as well.
Poilievre’s Conservatives have abandoned their support for Ukraine but we never will.
