Feeling Hofstadter: I like this because it's a retweet of a tweet containing an image of poster of an image of a sign. The message at the heart of it is written onto the 4th layer down (onto the poster), but its meaning surfaces higher than all layers in which it's incorporated.

I love stuff like this because it’s a poster of an image of a sign, but that sign is blank, and the poster - the empty virtual sign - has been written on, and placed, and therefore the entire thing has become a real sign — one that contains itself but in an irrelevant context
