@nickparker I read your book yesterday. It was great. As someone who is slightly dyslexic - and a slow reader! - I found the suggestions really inspiring. And the book was short too!! 😊
@nickparker@stevexoh Yeah I agree with you Nick I think it’s a subtle status thing. So subtle that they may not even realise they’re doing it. But still a status thing. And still irritating.
@crane_vc@scott_sage@krishnav Didn’t know you were a Manny! I keep reading about people feeling like they’re starting to master their craft after ten years. Keep going Scott!
@DrSteveMarshall @Ashridge_Biz Based on the paradoxical theory of change by Arnold Beisser. He said ‘Change occurs when one becomes what he/she is, not when he/she tries to become what he/she is not’
@DrSteveMarshall @Ashridge_Biz Sounds exciting. I would want to tell participants not to change anything about themselves - and be more of who they are. What can they cause in the world right now without having to change something about themselves?
Great insight @JacksonT0ny. I was working with a group yesterday - exploring their resilience - and what many of them realised is that they wanted to spend lots more time doing nothing. Your words here really resonate.
