The Legal Feminists congratulate Barbara and wish her a retirement as long and rich as her career at the Bar. We hope she will not be a stranger to these parts.
Me on Andy Burnham’s record. He may be an unknown quantity for many voters, but not for women who know his history of enthusiasm for gender ideology:

Here's my write up of the FWS v Scottish Ministers JR outcome. Grateful to Trina, Susan and Marion for giving me some great quotes. Got a line from Scottish Prison Service in - still waiting on Scottish EHRC and govt.

This is fantastic news. And the judgment does cracking work dispelling the notion that trans people have Article 8 rights that trump other people's rights which is a favourite of various incompetent lawyers

The negative SI process isn't being used just on this occasion for this Code of Practice. It’s the statutory process in ss.14(7)–(8) Equality Act 2006. And of course the Code itself isn’t a statutory instrument – it’s brought into force by an Order made under s.14(9)(b) EA2006.>
🧵 I’m thrilled to have signed with @cintopress for my forthcoming book “WOMEN EXIST: how the gender critical movement defeated Stonewall Law”
The book will explain how & why UK law has upheld women’s rights against the demands of transactivism…/1
