@utkarshnaithani sir Akshara Goenka’s “Khud se khud rishta” journey never started! Pls tell us your vision of Akshara’s journey.

That’s a good question. Again, unlike ‘Ichchhe Nodi’ (where she was just sacrificing coz she was adopted), our Akshara was written with layers. At the root of it, I wished to write a female lead that isn’t arguing or fighting coz it’s cool. But she’s a genuinely kind human being. In a world that’s teaching us that nice people finish last, I wanted a Kind hearted Akshara to win, without losing her heart and soul.
Her tendency to take it all upon herself led to the vulnerabilities (and panic attacks). Her desire to heal led her to channelise even her love for Music to heal and help others. People like Akshara Goenka (like so many of you) are told that they’ll lose if they don’t change. We wanted to tell all of you that you can be kind, loving and still make it in this world. (Or at least that was the endeavour). And Pranali was a lovely casting for that.

Thank you for speaking up. Thank you for Abhimanyu Birla. Thank you for giving us a person who I admire to be one day. #AbhimanyuBirla will always be apart of my life even after his end. I’m taking away a lot from his core character. Only Harshad could do it. THANK YOU!

Ahhh… more nostalgia. I remember, here we were told that our promo will be just like the Bengali show “Ichchhe Nodi”. I watched the show and said “Kuchh bhi karna but please don’t force me to make our hero similar to Their hero” (who was basically just swayed by others’ opinions and influenced by them.)
My point was: “Hamara Hero aisa hona chahiye that… ‘His Spine will be the show’s spine’. How he treats his mother and stands up for his love for Akshara will define him, and our story.”
Thankfully my ideas were accepted. And well… Abhimanyu Birla was born.
And boy, did Harshad Became Abhimanyu on Screen! :)
