A laborer working on a site near a hospital in Pune came to the hospital with his pregnant wife in an emergency. Dr. Ganesh Khairi examined the woman and said, "I have to perform a cesarean section immediately to save the mother and child." For a moment, the laborer thought he would be stuck with a huge expense, but with no other option, he allowed the doctor to perform the operation.

The operation was successful, and a daughter was born. The laborer's biggest question was how to pay the bill. When the laborer met Dr. Ganesh and asked how much the bill would be, Dr. Ganesh smiled and said, "I don't charge for the birth of a daughter." The laborer was astonished.

The doctor clarified, "Every daughter is an incarnation of Lakshmi. How can money be taken during Lakshmi's incarnation?" When I was studying, my mother told me that when God sends a daughter into this world, to help her and her family in every possible way. Obeying my mother's orders, I don't take any money at the time of my daughter's birth."

The laborer immediately fell at Dr. Ganesh's feet and said, "You are truly a manifestation of God." It's been a decade since Dr. Ganesh opened his hospital. In ten years, nearly 1,000 daughters have been born at his hospital, and not a single penny has been charged to the parents of any daughter.

Andhra Pradesh CM Chandrababu Naidu finally meets Gade Vijayalakshmi, mother of Gade Sai Kiran who is missing from Krishna Lanka Police Station, Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh since 9th May 2026.

The mother was made to run from pillar to post to know the whereabouts of her son.

As of today, Gade Sai Krishna is still missing.

There are speculations that Sai Krishna was subjected to custodial torture and he died in the station itself. Worse, opposition YSRCP released dead body photos claiming those to be of Sai Krishna. They say his body was cremated & ashes were thrown into the Krishna river.

With Andhra media majorly controlled by the TDP, there was very little scope for the truth to come out. But social media brought the government to its knees.

Will the mother know the truth at least now?

And irrespective of the criminal record of a person the police cannot play judge, jury & executioners. I hope a lesson is taught to those who crossed the line.

पर बीच रास्ते में ट्रैफिक पुलिस ने इनकी बाइक रुकवा दी और "ट्रिपल लोडिंग" व "बिना हेलमेट" का चालान काटने की बात कहने लगी।

व्यक्ति ने कहा, "आप ऑनलाइन चालान कर दीजिए, हमें कोई दिक्कत नहीं है।"

लेकिन आरोप है कि पुलिसकर्मी बोले, "गाड़ी अभी नहीं जाएगी।"

ड्राइविंग लाइसेंस समेत जोड़कर ₹10,000 से ज्यादा का चालान बन रहा था। तभी व्यक्ति बार बार कहता रहा,

"अभी इमरजेंसी है आप नम्बर लेकर ऑनलाइन चालान काट दीजिए, हमें पहले हॉस्टिल पहुंचना है।"

व्यक्ति का दावा है कि इसी दौरान पुलिसकर्मी ने कहा, "₹3,500 कैश दे दो ओर चले जाओ।"

यही सुनकर व्यक्ति गुस्सा में आ गाया, उसने कहा अभी इमरजेंसी में हूं तुम्हें पैसे कहा से दूं, हॉस्पिटल में पैसे देने है।

आप ऑनलाइन चालान कर दो हम बाद में भर देंगे।

लेकिन ट्रैफिक पुलिस गाड़ी छोड़ने की बात नहीं कर रहे थे, आखिरकार दिनों में बहस बढ़ गई।

"अगर आराेप सही हैं, तो सवाल यह है कि इमरजेंसी में पहले इंसानियत जरूरी है या वसूली...? "

वर्दी का अहंकार है ।
ब्रिटिश राज भले ही खत्म हो गया हो, लेकिन उसकी हुकूमत वाली मानसिकता आज भी देश के कई पुलिस तंत्रों में ज़िंदा दिखाई देती है। नागरिकों को अधिकारों वाले स्वतंत्र नागरिक नहीं, बल्कि हुक्म मानने वाले प्रजा की तरह देखा जाता है।
