NEW: The Prince of Wales will represent King Charles III at the funeral of King Harald V of Norway in Oslo next Wednesday. The Princess Royal, King Haakon VIII’s godmother, will also be present.

The Danish state visit to Belgium, scheduled for 8th to 10th September, has been postponed to allow Their Majesties to attend King Harald of Norway's funeral on 9th September.

King Harald V of Norway died this morning at the National Hospital in Oslo. He was 89 and had reigned for 35 years, it has been a huge honour to photograph him and his charming wife Queen Sonja throughout those years.
