SpaceX President Gwynne Shotwell on CNBC yesterday on Elon Musk:
"I think he is very misunderstood across the board. I want people to know him. In fact, he participated in some of the discussions that we’ve had over the last couple of weeks with investors.
The investors left saying: ‘I had no idea that is the man.’
I said: That’s the man I’ve worked for 24 years. I love him."
Gwynne joined SpaceX in 2002 as the company’s 11th employee. She’s awesome. What a journey.
Elon Musk is the supreme example of the ego-driven lust to excel that is the engine of capitalism. That's why SpaceX could be such a boon to the human race

NEWS: Big Short investor Steve Eisman, on SpaceX and Tesla merger, "that'd be the last thing in the world I'd want him to do."
The context. Some investors, Gene Munster among them, think folding Tesla into SpaceX is close to inevitable. Eisman wants no part of it.
And his reasoning lands as a backhanded compliment. It says the rocket and Starlink business is the prize, and bolting Tesla on would only weigh it down.
Things most Americans agree on:
Groceries cost too much.
Tariffs suck and make no sense.
Congress and Presidents shouldn’t trade stocks.
The debt is a mess.
The border should be secure, but legal immigration is good.
Endless wars are stupid, especially ones that nobody wants and have never been explained.
Americans are exhausted.
AI is like my new best friend that also might be trying to take my job, my ability to think for myself, and my humanity in the process. Yo like I love you, but WTF, but I still love you.
Diversity is actually awesome! The opposite is boring AF.
Canadians are super fucking cool.
Mexicans are chill.
Putin isn’t a good guy looking out for America’s best interest. Rocky IV and Miracle are great movies.
Good neighbors are a blessing.
Freedom of religion and coexistence without having to blow each other up is probably a good idea.
We all question, are we alone in the universe?
We all fuck up along the way.
Epstein didn’t hang himself.
The Trumps and Epstein were best friends for decades. It’s like Bert trying to tell us Ernie was just an acquaintance in the same social scene on Sesame Street back in the day.
The Cowboys suck. Go Birds!
Things we’re told to fight about:
Me.
Laptop.
Vaccines.
Transgenders in sports.
Pronouns.
That’s the joke.
Thanks @beeple, I’ve been a fan of your art for a long time. This is my new favorite.
When I decided to sell my art I wanted every piece on the blockchain and to accept Bitcoin as payment.
“The Internet of Money” by Andreas Antonopoulos really opened my eyes.
@jawwwn_@60Minutes There is obviously no “degree” you can get from a university that actually teaches you how to make an orbital rocket, as none of the professors know how to do it!
Grandmother of Henry Nowak’s killer COMPLAINS that her family are “living in fear” and are considering leaving Southampton but “don't have anywhere else to go.”
Bimla Kaur has complained that her family may never return to their “house again” after her grandson stabbed Nowak to death.
“It's not safe for them to be in their home because it was targeted the other night and it's only a matter of time before it is attacked again…I'm not sure if they'll ever return to that house again.”
The grandmother of Vickrum Digwa has said the family are “living in fear” following outrage over the families involvement which includes the killers mother hiding the knife used to stab Nowak.
“We're all living in fear because we've also had some threats and are worried that we might also get attacked.
But we've been in this city a long time, our whole extended family is here, and we don't have anywhere else to go.”

Henry Nowak was kind, thoughtful and much-loved. His life was stolen from him, leaving his family and loved ones devastated.
The bodycam footage is harrowing. It’s absolutely right that the IOPC is looking at this. There are serious questions for the police to answer.
