@afterthewinddev This looks amazing!
Iβm kind of hoping on a way smaller (map size / play time) variant on Breath of the Wild π
And itβs very inspiring to see your results. What are you working with?
Iβm working on a game too, using GPT Image, Claude Code, Godot & PixelLab.
Week 1 for me π
@patrick_kuhnke_ For sure, and Iβm a big believer of early validation. You donβt want to build for a year, ship and then find out you solved a problem no one has.
(of course there are other ways to validate demand, but shipping is always a good idea)
@MrBildo Haha thatβs very true. Personally I shifted very much from using AI to become more efficient, using AI to create profitable products to now the best part: using AI to make fun stuff π
Your gaming engine sounds cool and very impressive, is it available to use?
@MrBildo Simplified: think of a design, refine it with ChatGPT, create a master visual with GPT Image Creation, let Claude Code coordinate sprite creation using PixelLab and implementation by either Claude or Codex.
Are you also working on games Bill π?
Personally, I couldnβt care less whether I use Claude Code or Codex.
But Codex is pretty terrible on mobile (app and browser), which is why I keep coming back to Claude Code.
Question for Codex lovers, do you mainly use it on desktop, or have you found a decent mobile workflow?
@MnFounder Cool! Love a good party game.
Iβm building too much actually, need to focus π
- an interactive history app
- a game I designed
- a data dashboard for my office job
- a project/task cockpit
And the latest is a game my wife designed with our kids and dog as characters:
@MnFounder Haha what Iβve been up to is life π
Two little kids, busy at work and had no time / mental headspace for X for a while. Now Iβm dipping my toes in the water again π And building more again.
How are you?
@moderncodelab Too much tbh π :
- an interactive history app
- a game I designed
- a data dashboard for my office job
- a project/task cockpit
But the coolest is a game my wife designed with our kids and dog as characters:
